Love, the Rabbit Hole

A rabbit warned me of a day I’d be late

So I leapt down a hole

Thought my back came with a parachute

But no

Not for this hole

I had the freest fight into fleeting flight

Where

The walls glittered for me

The wind sang me lullabies

The world was new

Until I fell

Flat.  And faceless.

And dead.
